- Your checks are imaged and printed in check number order, eliminating the need to sort and file checks before you balance your checkbook.
- Date, check numbers and check amounts are printed below each check for easy reading and reference. No need to keep cumbersom storage boxes to store canceled checks.

|What are image statements?||Image statements are pictures of cancelled checks. Statements are printed 12 images per sheet.|
|Are image statements acceptable proof of payment?||Yes. The IRS considers it acceptable proof of payment as long as the statement shows the check number, the amount of check, and the payee name. Your image statement will include all of this information.|
|Does this mean I will no longer receive my checks back?||
Actually you are still getting your checks back. The checks are in a different format, one that is easier to manage, and you are getting them in check number order making it easier to reconcile your account
|Will the image statement show the back of the check?||Your statement will include only the front of your checks. If you need a copy of the back, you may request it from any location. We can also mail or fax copies to your home of office.|
|What if I lose my check image statement?||The bank will keep archives of your image statements indefinitely and available for retrieval.|
|What happens to the cancelled checks?||Actual checks will be kept for a limited time then destroyed.|
|Will this new service cost me more in service charges?||
No, we are not charging any fees for this service. Actually, imaging will lessen future increases in service charges.
|Will I need ot get new checks because of image statements?||No. Most checks provide a quality image.|

Visa Business Check Card (EMV/Chip)
You can use The Bank of Fincastle Visa Business Check Card (where Visa Cards are accepted) to pay for everyday purchases and the amount will be deducted from your checking account*. You'll always get a receipt for easy record keeping and your Visa Business Check Card purchase will be listed on the transaction part of your monthly statement, along with the purchase location.
Your Visa Business Check Card comes with built-in chip technology. This gives you greater fraud protection when you use your card at a chip-activated terminal. It can also be used as an ATM card which allows access to your Bank of Fincastle accounts at any Bank of Fincastle ATM** and at over 480,000 ATMs in the Visa Global ATM Network.
Subject to credit approval. *Your daily total purchases cannot exceed the amount of available funds in your checking account or $2,500.00, whichever is less. **There will be no charge for transactions at ATMs owned by The Bank of Fincastle. The Bank of Fincastle will charge a $1.00 fee when you use another bank's ATM. All transactions will show on your monthly Bank of Fincastle statement. You may be charged an additional terminal fee when using your Bank of Fincastle card at another bank's ATM for withdrawals or inquires.

Overdraft protection allows you to link your SmartBusiness Checking Account to a Smart Business Money Market Account; another SmartBusiness Checking Account; or a Bank of Fincastle Line of Credit.
Should you overdraw your checking account we will automatically transfer the exact amount you need from the designated account to your checking account. Each time overdraft protection is activated a $1.00 service fee is charged to the checking account along with the transferred amount.
