The Bank of Fincastle sponsored its most recent Quarterly Community Breakfast featuring Ken McFadyen, Director of Economic Development. He spoke on all the new businesses and the progress at Exit 150, Gateway Crossing.


"Meet Your County Lifesavers" Quarterly Community Breakfast sponsored by The Bank of Fincastle. The event featured Deputy Chief David Firestone of the Botetourt County Fire and Rescue Department. Deputy Chief Firestone spoke on how our emergency service department is keeping the citizens of Botetourt safe.

Historic Fincastle Holiday Home Tour and Marketplace 2016

The Bank of Fincastle is pleased to sponsor the 2016 HFI Holiday Home Tour & Marketplace on Saturday, December 10th, beginning at Fincastle Baptist Church. The Marketplace features more than 40 local and regional artists and admission is free. Tickets for the Home Tour are just $15 per person ($12 for HFI members). Bank of Fincastle Fall Run 2016

The 30th Annual Bank of Fincastle Fall 5K and 10K run took place on Saturday, October 15th at Central Academy Middle School. More than 700 runners were in attendance with teams from all local Elementary, Middle and High School Students participating.For race results or for information about our 2017 race please click here. Sidewinders Summer Concert Series 2016

The Bank of Fincastle sponsored the Sidewinders Summer Concert Series at the Daleville Town Center. Proceeds benefitted the Daleville Institute whose mission is to promote a vital cultural life in the Daleville and Botetourt Community. The Daleville Institute supports the artisitic and cultural education of residents and visitors to the region, and encourages support of the development of programs and educational opportunities aimed at these initiatives.

FREE Community Breakfast with Ken McFadyen 2016

Ken McFadyen, the new Economic Development Director for Botetourt County was the speaker at our quarterly Community Breakfast. Ken will be highlighted the economic development plans for Botetourt County, including an update on the changes at exit 150, the new gateway to Botetourt County, Gateway Crossing. The event was sponsored by The Bank of Fincastle and the Botetourt Chamber of Commerce.

Hot Dog Days, Customer Appreciation 2016

The Bank of Fincastle served more than 2800 hot dogs to our customers and the community on Thursday September 15 and Friday, September 16 at the Daleville Branch Office. The event featured complimentary hotdogs with homemade chili, chips, drinks, hand-dipped ice cream and more.

EventZone's Party in the Park @ Daleville Town Center 2016

We are proud to have sponsored the EventZone Party in the Park again this year, along with Colonial Mortgage Company and Colonial Title and Settlement.

Meet your County Lifesavers 2016

On Thursday, June 30, The Bank of Fincastle sponsored our quarterly community breakfast at Bellacino's Restaurant featuring speaker Deputy Chief David Firestone with Botetourt County Fire and EMS. Our interim Chief Tommy Fuqua and other emergency services staff were on hand to answer questions. . He spoke on how our emergency services experts are keeping Botetourt County safe. More than 55 guests were in attendance for the complimentary breakfast and presentation.

Virginia Banker's Association Bank Day 2016

On March 15, 2016 students from LBHS and JRHS participated in Bank Day at our Daleville Branch. Bank employees hosted the tour and there were presentations from each department. The students will write an essay for a chance to win the VBA's Scholarship contest. For more information, please click here.

Soup for Seniors 2016

Helping Seniors Have a Hot Meal When It’s Cold Outside

Towards the end of January and through the first week in February, together with our customers, we collected non-perishable food items for our elderly neighbors in need. Thank you for helping us - we collected enough to fill an SUV!
