GENERAL INFORMATION
The race will begin promptly at 9:00 a.m. Both courses are challenging with several steep inclines and declines through the historic town of Fincastle. Participants of all levels of ability are welcome. The streets will be closed from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. and the course will be marked and staffed by volunteers and county officials to control traffic. Splits will be given at each mile marker. Water stops will be at 1.5, 3, and 5 mile markers. Fresh fruits and drinks will be provided to all runners at the finish line. Bathroom and shower facilities will be available at Central Academy.


AGE DIVISIONS
Both men and women in both the 5K and 10K race are categorized in the following age divisions: 9 and under, 10-13, 14-17, 18-22, 23-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-69, 70 and over.
