BasicChoice Plus Checking
Customers who regularly maintain higher balances in their checking account should consider our BasicChoice Plus Checking Account. This account is FREE*, which requires no minimum balance and has no monthly service charges, just like our BasicChoice Checking Account... PLUS... it rewards customers with Plus Privileges when maintaining a daily balance of $1000.
Your Plus Privileges are: free wallet-style "safety paper" checks, no fee money orders or cashier's checks, no annual fee on Bank of Fincastle credit cards, and preferred rates on loans. Plus Priviledge Limitations: You must deposit $1000 to open the account. If account falls below $1000 at any time during the statement cycle you will lose Plus Privileges for that statement cycle. If the daily balance falls below $1000 during three consecutive statement cycles this account will revert to a BasicChoice Checking Account.
SeniorChoice Checking
Our SeniorChoice Checking Account is designed especially for our customers who are 55 and older. It is a traditional FREE* checking account, which requires no minimum balance and has no monthly service charge PLUS you get the benefit of our SeniorPrivileges. Your SeniorPrivileges are: free wallet-style "safety paper" checks, no fee money orders or cashier's checks, $5.00 off annual lock box rental, and no fee for telephone transfers.
StudentChoice Checking
If you are a high school or college student this account is for you. A traditional FREE* checking account, which requires no minimum balance and has no monthly service charges, is available to any full time student (no age requirement) with a parent or guardian as a co-owner of the account.
*Requires no minimum balance and has no monthly service charge; however, a $25.00 initial deposit is required to open account.
